Get Involved
Be part of what we're building.
COS I MATTER NZ is building a community of informed, prepared and persistent people — while working to bring lived experience into conversations about how health, disability and aged-care systems can work better.
Whether you have lived experience, care for or advocate for someone you love, work within these systems, or simply believe things can be better, there are different ways to get involved.

Founding Members
Be part of COS I MATTER from the beginning.
Founding Membership is for individuals, families, whānau, carers and supporters who believe people should be better equipped to advocate effectively and that lived experience should have a stronger voice in the systems that affect people's lives.
As a Founding Member, you'll become part of the early COS I MATTER community and help support the development and growth of our advocacy education and wider systems-change work.
Your Founding Membership includes access to the COS I MATTER Advocacy Programme when it launches.
Use it. Gift it. Pay it forward.
- Use it — access the Advocacy Programme yourself and strengthen your own advocacy knowledge and skills.
- Gift it — give your programme access to someone you know who may benefit from it.
- Pay it forward — allow your programme place to be passed on through COS I MATTER to a person or family who may need the support but may not otherwise be able to access it.
You don't have to personally need advocacy support to become a Founding Member. You can simply believe in what we're building and help make that support available to someone else.
Founding Membership opening soon.

Urgent situations

Every voice matters.
COS I MATTER began with lived experience, but it was never intended to remain one family's story.
By equipping people to advocate, bringing lived experience into the conversation and building relationships with those who believe systems can do better, we can create impact that reaches far beyond any one individual or family.
Informed. Prepared. Persistent.
